A gentle, heart-centred way back to yourself.
Gentle sessions for children and families navigating autism, ADHD and additional needs, and support for the parents, who are rarely asked how they are.
Anita has a special interest in supporting children and families, particularly those navigating autism, ADHD, and other additional educational needs.
This is written for the parent, because it is usually the parent reading it. Sessions are adapted to the child and to the family, and nothing here is one-size-fits-all. The aim is to support, not to diagnose or to treat autism or ADHD themselves, and nothing here will change who your child is.
And, said plainly, support for you. Families in this position are usually managing a great deal and are rarely asked how they are doing themselves. Sessions for the parent alone are entirely legitimate and often a good place to start.
None of this needs to be tidy or explainable before you arrive.
Complementary therapy supports wellbeing alongside medical care. No outcome is promised, and nothing here is a substitute for advice from your GP or specialist.
Anita will ask about your child's needs before a first session, so that the pace and the setting can be led by the child rather than by a plan.
Sessions with anyone under 18 are booked and consented to by a parent or carer.
No, and it is not offered as one. These sessions offer gentle, adapted support for the child and the family. Nothing more is claimed, and nothing here is a substitute for the clinical care your child receives.
Yes, and many parents do. Looking after yourself in this situation is not a lesser reason to book.
Only genuinely free times are shown. Choosing one asks for that time, it does not confirm it, and nothing is paid through this website.
A gentle, heart-centred way back to yourself.
Light touch, deep stillness.
A simple, hands-on way to calm a busy nervous system.
There is no rush, and no obligation. If you would rather ask something first, that is a perfectly good place to start.
